Editors have said they would like to cover Elvis Presley on the 30th anniversary of this death.

The band said they wanted to tackle two of his classics.

Singer Tom Smith said:” It'd be great to do (a cover) of 'Suspicious Minds' or 'In The Ghetto’.

Speaking to Spinner he said: "The live version of ([/B]'Suspicious Minds'[/B]) is one of the most phenomenal live recordings [that's] ever been to tape.

"In the video, his performance is unbelievable. It's just proper rock 'n' roll: big, in your face. Power."

Presley died aged 42 from heart failure on August 16, 1977.
