Biffy Clyro and Ra Ra Riot kick off powerhouse show

Editors wrapped up their tour of the US with an electrifying performance at Los Angeles' Wiltern Theatre last night (September 24).

The band seemed to genuinely have a blast on stage, especially frontman Tom Smith, who climbed atop his piano and exhibited frenetic energy throughout the night.

Dressed all in black, the Birmingham four-piece played several tracks from their most recent album 'An End Has A Start', as well as material from their 2005 debut 'The Back Room' including 'Lights', 'Munich' and 'Open Your Arms'.

Audience members sang along loudly to old and new tracks. "You look fucking lovely every one of you," Smith said.

The band finished the evening and their US tour with a climactic three-song encore that ended with the crowd-pleasing 'Fingers In The Factories'.

Earlier in the evening, Scottish trio Biffy Clyro warmed up the crowd with a sweaty, shirtless set, and Ra Ra Riot won over the audience with a brief but rousing performance. It was the second time the New Yorkers had ever played in Los Angeles.

Editors played:

'Bones'
'Bullets'
'An End Has A Start'
'Blood'
'The Weight Of The World'
'Escape The Nest'
'Banging Heads'
'All Sparks'
'When Anger Shows'
'Lights'
'The Racing Rats'
'Fall'
'Munich'
'Open Your Arms'
'You Are Fading'
'Smokers Outside The Hospital Doors'
'Fingers In The Factories'
