Editors are set to release their brand new album, 'The Weight Of Your Love', on July 1.

The band have trailed their fourth LP by unveiling a new song, 'A Ton Of Love', which you can hear and watch the video for by clicking above.

'A Ton Of Love' is the follow-up to the band's 2009 LP 'In This Light And On This Evening'. It was recorded mostly live at Blackbird Studio in Nashville with producer Jacquire King (Tom Waits, Norah Jones, Of Monsters And Men, Kings Of Leon) and mixed by Craig Silvey (Arctic Monkeys, The Horrors, Arcade Fire, Bon Iver).

Speaking about the new material, frontman Tom Smith described the album as like "having a foot in that alt rock / Americana world" and "feeling untouchable at times". The lyrics, he added, are mostly focused on "love songs...that don’t adhere to the traditional love song type."

Editors will be playing this year's Open'er festival in Poland, recently confirming that they will be playing brand new material at the event.

Last year Editors guitarist Chris Urbanowicz left the band. The band posted a lengthy statement on their website, which said that the guitarist had left "in a decision entirely based upon future musical direction" and that Urbanowicz's departure was "entirely amicable".
