Mark 'E' Everett wants George W Bush to attend

Mark 'E' Everett has written to George W Bush inviting him to Eels' show in Washington DC on March 29.

In a letter penned to the American President, E explained their gig is "right down the road from you".

E also offered to send Bush copies of the band's recent 'Best Of', saying: "These tracks can be loaded on to your Presidential iPod as well."

As previously reported on NME.COM, when in the UK last month E invited the Queen to their gig at London's Queen Elizabeth Hall, an invitation the monarch replied to, explaining her absence.
