Egyptian Hip Hop have announced plans for a short tour of the UK, set to take place in March of next year.

The mini-tour kicks off at Glasgow Nice n'Sleazy's on March 1 and then travels to Edinburgh, London, Bristol and Leeds, before winding up in the band's hometown of Manchester, with a show at the Gorilla venue on March 8.

The six dates follow the recent release of their debut album, 'Good Dont Sleep', which comes after their 2009 Hudson Mohawke-produced EP 'Some Reptiles Grew Wings'.

'Good Don't Sleep' was recorded in Leeds and in Wales at Bryn Derwen studios and was produced by Wild Beasts collaborator Richard Formby.

Egyptian Hip Hop will play:

Glasgow Nice n' Sleazy's (March 1)
Edinburgh Electric Circus (2)
London XOYO (4)
Bristol Fleece (5)
Leeds Brudenell Social Club (6)
Manchester Gorilla (8)
