XFM to stage Manchester gigs in April

XFM’s new Manchester station is set to host a series of free gigs including Elbow, Embrace and The Charlatans.

The Access All April shows take place across the city, and fans can win tickets by listening to the station, which can be heard via Xfmmanchester.co.uk.

The gigs are:

Night & Day: The Zutons, The Upper Room (13)

Previewing his band's show Elbow’s Guy Garvey - who hosts a weekend show on XFM Manchester 97.7fm - admitted he was looking forward to combining his new radio career and being in a band.

“I've got two great jobs and when these worlds collide on April 30 magic things will start to happen," he declared. "The fabric of the universe will tear and I may very well be sucked into the infinite abyss. It should be a great night!”
