Mercury Prize winners Elbow planning Last Shadow Puppets collaboration?
Guy Garvey and Alex Turner's bands to hook up
Elbow man Guy Garvey is planning to collaborate with The Last Shadow Puppets after the band's Nationwide Mercury Prize win on Tuesday (September 9).
Garvey told The Daily Star that he and bandmate Craig Potter are planning to hook up with Alex Turner and Miles Kane to work on new material.
"There is something on the cards for me and Craig to work with Miles and Alex. They're top blokes and you have to enjoy the creative process," Garvey said.
Miles Kane says he's also up for the collaboration, telling the newspaper: "I'm writing the second album for The Rascals at the moment. I was thinking of doing it with Guy."
Following its Mercury success, Elbow's 'The Seldom Seen Kid' is now on course to return to the Top Ten in the UK Album Charts this Sunday (September 14).
