Elbow are set to collaborate with Welsh crooner Tom Jones soon.

Jones told The Sun that he was set to team up with the Bury band for a new project, but didn't reveal details of the collaboration.

"I'm going to be doing something with them soon," he said.

The singer added that his future tour plans depended on how well his forthcoming new album, '24 Hours', sold. "If it doesn't sell, I simply won't tour," he said. "There'll be no point."

Elbow won the Nationwide Mercury Prize last month for their fourth album, 'The Seldom Seen Kid'.

The band are set to begin work on a children's album soon.

Currently on a sold-out UK tour, Elbow will follow that up with a one-off show at London Wembley Arena on March 14 next year.
