Elbow: 'T In The Park is the perfect festival'
Guy Garvey declares his love for Balado bash
Elbow today (July 12) played a jubilant Main Stage set at T In The Park, declaring the Scottish shindig the "perfect festival".
During the hour-long sun-kissed performance, frontman Guy Garvey was in a jubilant mood.
Before final song 'One Day Like This' he thanked the crowd, calling the assembled throng a "beautiful sight... this is the perfect festival".
Joined by a string quartet for 'Mirrorball', 'The Loneliness Of A Tower Crane Driver', 'Weather To Fly' and the aforementoned 'One Day Like This', the Bury band led the crowd in mass singalongs, before setting off a series of confetti cannons at the close of their set.
Before 'Weather To Fly', the band clustered round Craig Potter's keyboard to toast the entire audience and cajole them into doing a "reverse Mexican wave".
