Elbow have finally settled on a title for their forthcoming new album.

The band's sixth LP will be called 'The Take Off And Landing Of Everything', and will be released on March 3.

Frontman Guy Garvey originally told NME earlier this year that the Manchester's band sixth LP had the working title 'All At Once'. He then said that it would have the title 'Carry Her, Carry Me', but has now revealed that he changed it to the new, and official, title 'The Take Off And Landing Of Everything', at the last minute.

"It always happens this. The title's now from a song on there; this huge, cacophonous thing born of our love for space rock, prog, Primal Scream and Spiritualized," he told Q.

Speaking about what the phrase 'The Take Off And Landing Of Everything' means for the band, he added: "It's to do with the fact that there have been lots of life events…There are five members of the band, people have split up, go together, had children, it never stops."

Elbow will play an eight-date arena tour following the album's release in April.

Elbow will play:

Birmingham LG Arena (April 5)
Glasgow The Hydro (6)
Cardiff Motorpoint Arena (8)
Manchester Phones 4 U Arena (9)
Leeds First Direct Arena (11)
Liverpool Echo Arena (12)
Nottingham Capital FM Arena (14)
London The O2 (16)
