Electrelane join Arcade Fire on tour

Brighton band sign on for North American jaunt

Electrelane join Arcade Fire on tour

Electrelane have announced that they will join Arcade Fire on the second leg of their North American spring tour.

The Brighton band were supposed to support them on several European dates earlier this year, which ended up getting cancelled because of Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler's illness.

Electrelane will join the Canadians for two dates in Chicago beginning May 18, after which they'll head to Washington for the Sasquatch! Festival. They'll then hit Los Angeles' Greek Theatre for two nights, and Berkeley's Greek Theatre for two more.

As a result of joining up with Arcade Fire, Electrelane had to cancel previously scheduled headlining dates in Montreal, Detroit, Vancouver, and Portland.

The Arcade Fire/Electrelane dates are:

Chicago, IL Chicago Theatre (May 19, 20)
George, WA Gorge Sasquatch! Festival (26)
Portland, OR Schnitzer Concert Hall (27)
Los Angeles, CA Greek Theatre (29, 30)
Berkeley, CA Greek Theatre (June 1, 2)
