Ellie Goulding's debut album 'Lights' enters chart at Number One

Ellie Goulding's debut album 'Lights' has debuted at Number One in the UK albums chart today (March 7).

In the singles stakes Tinie Tempah went straight in at Number One with his debut effort 'Pass Out'.

Goulding knocked Lady Gaga's 'The Fame' off the top spot to gain the Number One position. Further down the chart Joanna Newsom entered at 28 with 'Have One On Me'.

The top ten UK singles are:

2. Rihanna – 'Rude Boy'
3. Jason Derulo – 'In My Head'
4. Ellie Goulding – 'Starry Eyed'
5. Florence/Dizzee Rascal – 'You Got The Dirtee Love'
6. Alicia Keys – 'Empire State Of Mind (Part III)'
7. Timbaland ft Katy Perry - 'If We Ever Meet Again'
8. Naughty Boy Presents Wiley featuring Emeli – ‘Never Be Your Woman’
9. Boyzone – 'Gave It All Away'
10. Cheryl Cole – 'Parachute'
