Ellie Goulding has said her second album is "definitely different" to her debut 'Lights'.
In an interview with BBC Radio 1's Newsbeat, the 'Starry Eyed' singer revealed she had already begun working on new tracks for the album, but refused to divulge any more details.
She said:
I feel like I'll jinx it if I talk about it, but it's definitely different.
She added: "I've been recording in America. I've been there quite a lot because I've been touring. I'll be back in the UK soon and I'm just looking forward to the new album coming out now."
Goulding has previously insisted that she will always consider herself a folk artist because of her love of playing the guitar.
She has admitted that she enjoys touring in the US as she can "get away with more and be more of a free spirit".
