FRINGE BENEFITS

The indie stalwarts feature on 'The Amos House Collection, Vol. II'...

FRINGE BENEFITS

ELLIOTT SMITH, BELLE & SEBASTIAN side project THE GENTLE WAVES, WHEAT and BRIGHT EYES are amongst the indie stalwarts set to feature on a forthcoming benefit album for a US homeless charity.

'The Amos House Collection, Vol. II' will be released on January 15 through little known Wishing Tree Records. No UK release date has been set yet. The album will raise funds for Amos House, based in Rhode Island, Billboard reports.

"Rhode Island is the only state in the US where no one is appointed to helping the homeless, and the problem falls through the cracks," Wishing Tree co-owner David Silva said. "All of the artists we approached not only wanted to get involved, but also donated their work to the project. The response has been overwhelming and both collections are the result of extremely talented and generous people coming together."
