HE'S NOT STILL STANDING!
The superstar has been struck down with a throat infection...
Illness has forced ELTON JOHN to pull a second concert this week.
Elton had to pull last night’s (December 12) show at Glasgow SECC after being struck by a throat infection which caused him to lose his voice.
The 57-year-old had already cancelled a show in Nottingham on Friday. A throat specialist had told the star that he would be "foolish" to go ahead with the dates, according to the BBC.
He said before Friday’s aborted show: "I seem to have caught this infection only yesterday, and my voice started to go during last night’s show. I woke up this morning with virtually no voice."
It is hoped that Elton John will be well enough to play his scheduled four-night stint at London Hammersmith Apollo, which begins tonight.
