The man responsible for that Princess Diana single records 'Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad?'...

Elton John has recorded vocals for MOBY'S hit `WHY DOES MY HEART FEEL SO BAD?' in one of the strangest collaborations in recent times.

The idea came about after both stars attended the Grammy awards in Los Angeles, US, earlier this year.

At a party afterwards at the city's House Of Blues honouring Sting and Bono's support of Rock The Vote, Moby performed a set and was joined on stage by Elton, who sang 'Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad?'.

The evening before the Rock The Vote concert, Moby performed Elton John's 'Your Song' with b>Jewel at the Musicares fundraiser, saluting Elton, who had been guest of honor at the event.

As a result of their collaborations and their mutual admiration for each other, Mr Candle In The Wind has now recorded his own version of 'Why Does My Heart...', keeping Moby's instrumentation in the background.

However, Mute has no plans to release the new Elton version `Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad?' in the immediate future, according to a spokesperson.

Moby is currently on tour in America with extensive worldwide dates to follow.

He also plays Glastonbury, V2000, Homelands and The Green Energy Festival, Ireland, with more appearances to be announced.

Meanwhile, Moby's new single `Porcelain' is released on June 12, another track from his humber two album 'Play' and which also in recent Leonardo Di Caprio movie The Beach.
