Aberdeen FC sue over Elton John concert Elton John Tickets
Club want compensation from promoters for pitch repairs
Aberdeen Football Club chiefs are suing concert promoters Marshall Arts Ltd over an Elton John concert they promoted at the club's ground in 2004.
They say that they had to commission work on the Pittodrie pitch after the show and that the promoters had originally said that the £36,000 bill would be covered by insurance, reports BBC News.
The bosses at the Scottish Premier League side have taken the case to the Court Of Session in Edinburgh in their bid for compensation.
