One man is left with a broken leg after stage collapses at Chichen Itza ruins
Three workers have been injured after a stage collapsed during the build up to an Elton John concert in Mexico.
The singer was not present at the time of the incident at the Chichen Itza ruins on Wednesday night (March 31), which left two men with slight injuries and a third with a broken leg.
The accident happened after lighting rails fell onto the stage area during construction.
According to authorities, the concert will still go ahead as planned on Saturday (April 3).
After the gig, Elton John will head to the US for 10 additional dates, reports BBC News.
