Elvis Costello and New Orleans musician Allen Toussaint have confirmed they are to play a fundraising gig in support of Liverpool venue The New Picket.
The venue is currently under threat and is currently being championed by musical giants including Pete Townshend.
Costello's support will be put into action on July 5, when he takes to the stage with Toussaint in order to raise funds for the ailing venue.
