Rare Elvis Presley memorabilia unearthed in Scotland
Don McLean lyrics discovered too
Some rare Elvis Presley memorabilia, including a gold record and framed signed picture, have been found in a house in Scotland.
The property, which is located in Edinburgh’s city centre, also housed a framed scrap of paper with the lyrics to Don McLean’s hit 'American Pie'.
It is believed the lyrics were written by McLean himself.
CMU Daily reports police believe the items were stolen and a statement from Lothian And Borders Police reads: “The value of the items is not known, but they look genuine and if they have been stolen then we hope that the original owner will recognise them and contact us."
