A new Elvis Presley album featuring new musical arrangements backing his vocals, inspired by the late singer's Las Vegas Cirque Du Soleil show, is set to be released.
'Viva Elvis – The Album' will be released on November 8.
Erich van Tourneau, the Musical Director of the project, assembled the album using vocal samples of the singer taken from albums, films, interviews and gig recordings, revamping existing songs as the backing.
"We set out to evoke the soul and spirit of Elvis Presley while building a bridge between his music and future generations of fans," he explained.
The Presley Cirque Du Soleil has been running in Las Vegas since the start of this year.
The tracklisting of 'Viva Elvis – The Album' is:
'Opening'
'Blue Suede Shoes'
'That's All Right'
'Heartbreak Hotel'
'Love Me Tender'
'King Creole'
'Bossa Nova Baby'
'Burning Love'
'Memories (interlude)'
'Can't Help Falling In Love'
'You'll Never Walk Alone (piano interlude)'
'Suspicious Minds'
