GRACELAND OF MAKE BELIEVE
Elvis obsessives start building a replica of The King's mansion. As you do...
An ELVIS-obsessed couple are set to build a replica of GRACELAND near their ILLINOIS home with the proceeds of a lottery win.
According to the Chicago Tribune, Tom and Cindy Sanocki are to use part of her father's £44 million win to construct the house.
Tom said: "We're not Elvis freaks. We just like his music and that's what brought us together. I want to be able to sit on my porch and look all around me and feel like I'm in Memphis."
The couple met at an Elvis convention and Tom proposed while they were on a trip to the real Graceland in Memphis.
Work started on the house on January 8, on what would have been Elvis' 66th birthday, and the couple hope to finish it by August 16, the 24th anniversary of The King's death.
