NEW SINGLE - GROUP HUG!

NEW SINGLE - GROUP HUG!
EMBRACE release a new single 'SAVE ME' on May 22 through HUT.

The track is the third to be taken from the band's new album 'Drawn From Memory' and is backed by 'Still So Young', the song-writing debut of Embrace drummer Mike Heaton.

Speaking to nme.com this week, Embrace frontman Danny McNamara praised the song and said: "It's really gentle. It sounds like a song I'd write. He (Mike) wrote the song and the music and I helped him out a bit on the lyrics but it's kind of 95 per cent his song."

"He's written a lot of songs and now he's got to the standard when we can put his stuff out. He's got a couple of new songs that might go into the pot for the next album."

Also featured as b-sides are dance remixes of 'Save Me' by Perfecto and Reverend Bass and a new track titled 'Get On Board'.

The Perfecto team of Paul Oakenfold and Steve Osborne have previously remixed Embrace's 'One Big Family' single and the band were so pleased with the results they decided to go to them again.

Embrace are currently writing new material for their third album. The band expect to go back into the studio in late autumn.

Meanwhile, fans can catch the band when they play two shows at Blackpool Tower Ballroom (May 4 &5) with support from Witness, Coldplay and JJ72.

The band will also headline the second stages at this year's Carling Weekender Festivals at Reading (August 26) and Leeds (27) as well as an appearance at this year's Glastonbury (June 23-25).
