EMF STAR REMEMBERED BY FAMILY
The relatives of EMF bassist ZAC FOLEY have issued a statement speaking of the loss of a "spiritual" member of their family.

As revealed on NME.COM, Foley died earlier this month (January 3) aged 31.

There still scant details available about the circumstances surrounding his death. However, now, his family have issued the following statement via the band's website, www.emf-theband.com, thanking fans for their tributes to the musician.

It reads: "Rex, Anne, Annemarie and Jerome Foley would like to say thank you to everyone for there love, kindness and many hugs sent through tributes from different parts of the world.

"We take comfort in knowing Zachary was special to many people and left his mark in many different ways.

"Zac is a spiritual soul. It is good to know that his light shines so bright, touching and reaching out to so many.

"We are honoured that Zac chose us for parents and brother, giving thanks to the love and joy he brought to us.

"We know his love and spirit is with us always. We shall meet him again in the rainbow kingdom.

"Love and peace be with you always."

Foley's funeral will take place in the coming days. At the request of his family and close friends, the details will not be made public.
