EMINEM is the latest performer to join the line-up for the MTV EUROPE MUSIC AWARDS 2002, which take place at BARCELONA PALAU SANT JORDI on November 14.

The rapper, described by the event’s organisers as a "spellbinding" and "heartfelt" performer, joins his long-standing rivals Moby and Christina Aguilera on the bill, alongside Foo Fighters, Robbie Williams and Coldplay.

Eminem is nominated in four categories – Best Male, Best Hip-Hop, Best Album (’The Eminem Show’) and Best Video (‘Without Me’).

The star has taken the Best Hip-Hop title for the last three years consecutively, and won Best Album for ’The Marshall Mathers LP’ in 2000.

P Diddy hosts the ceremony, which will attract an audience of 13,000 in Barcelona, and is broadcast live on MTV in the UK at 9pm.
