EMINEM IN OSCAR TRIUMPH
The rapper triumphs as 'Lose Yourself' is named Best Song - but he fails to show at the ceremony...
EMINEM won the BEST SONG award at the 75th ACADEMY AWARDS last night (March 23), even though he didn't bother to turn up.
'Lose Yourself' from the film '8 Mile', which was co-written by Jeff Bass and Luis Resto, scooped the Oscar for 'Achievement In Music Written For Motion Pictures'. The rapper was the only musical artist not present to perform a nominated work at the ceremony in Los Angeles.
Resto accepted the award from presenter Barbra Streisand and said of the rapper, "He's creative. He has symphonies in his head. He's a good man. He has a good heart."
