Eminem will appear in court in Mount Clemens, Michigan, today (March 26) to ask a judge to ban ex-wife Kim Mathers insulting him in public because it could harm their daughter, Hailie.
According to a court motion filed with Macomb County Circuit Court, he is seeking to stop his ex from making "derogatory, disparaging, inflammatory and otherwise negative comments" after a recent bout of interviews in which she said he was "uncaring" and cast aspersions on his sexual abilities.
The rapper, real name Marshall Mathers, contends that her actions are damaging to their 11-year-old daughter as his international profile means that it is impossible to protect her from the negative effects of such comments being in the public domain, reports FOXnews.com.
The couple have endured many ups and downs, marrying in 1999, divorcing two years later, then remarrying in January 2006 and separating three months after.
