Rapper in talks to purchase Detroit venue
Eminem wants to buy a Detroit venue which was featured in his film ’8 Mile’.
The rapper is in negotiations to purchase the St. Andrew’s Hall venue from Live Nation for an undisclosed amount.
As part of the deal, Eminem and his manager Paul Rosenberg will manage the operation while the venue’s current management will run the day-to-day operations of the club.
The rap battle scenes in ’8 Mile’ were filled in an area of St.Andrew’s Hall called ’The Shelter’, reports Detroit Free Press.
