Eminem has said that reports that he had jewellery and a laptop stolen from his hotel room while attending the MTV Movie Awards are false.
The New York Daily News reported that he lost a laptop and a diamond necklace worth $60K on Sunday night (May 31).
Speaking to Rapradar.com, Eminem said: "The only thing was that I lost a Nike watch that we were looking for. The rest of it is made up like half the other stuff out there."
The rapper was the subject of a now-infamous staged Bruno gag at the ceremony.
Sacha Baron Cohen's character descended from the ceiling and landed with Eminem's face trapped between his spread legs. The Michigan rapper then stormed out of the ceremony.
He later said he was "thrilled" to be part of the joke.
