He later returned for the encore to perform tracks including 'Til I Collapse' and 'Crack A Bottle'.
Addressing the crowd, the Mathers said:
Austin, Texas, make some motherfuckin' noise for yourselves. Everybody thank you for coming out. We love you.
The gig saw 50 Cent play all 16 of the songs on his 2003 debut studio album 'Get Rich Or Die Tryin''.
Referencing the 10th anniversary of recording the album in 2002, the hip-hop star said: "It's been 10 years. That album sold 13 million copies. The money came so fast, I couldn't fuck it up. I was trying everything I could think of."
The gig, hosted by Sway, also featured 50 Cent's new G-Unit artists Paris and Kidd Kidd, along with Action Bronson, Schoolboy Q, Don Trip and Big K.R.I.T.
Eminem, who headlined V Festival last summer, released his last album 'Recovery' in 2010.
