Eminem has been pictured in a recording studio with fellow rapper Big Sean.

According to Dr Dre, Slim Shady is close to completing his eighth solo album, with the record expected to be released later this year. However, the image of the two together in the studio will most likely flare up rumours that the pair are recording a track for the Detroit rapper's forthcoming LP.

Big Sean, who has previously spoken out about his admiration for Marshall Mathers, posted the image on Twitter on Friday (April 26). He tweeted:

Earlier this year, it was revealed that Eminem will play an outdoor gig in Glasgow this August, with the rapper the first act announced for a brand new concert series called the Glasgow Summer Sessions, which will also see a gig by Kings Of Leon. He will take to the stage in the city's Bellahouston Park on August 20.

In December (2012), meanwhile, he was revealed as the headliner for this year's Reading and Leeds Festivals, which take place between 23 and 25 August. He has also announced a massive Irish gig at Slane Castle on August 17.
