Eminem has blocked the BBC from filming any footage of his headline performance at Reading Festival tonight (August 24).

The rapper, who is due to make his first appearance at both Reading and Leeds since 2001, has requested that no filming of the gig takes place according to BBC Reading Festival's Twitter account. They posted:

No word has yet come out of Eminem's camp to confirm this. The BBC is streaming live from Reading and Leeds Festivals this weekend, and showing highlights on BBC Three. They got into a similar dispute with The Rolling Stones over their Glastonbury coverage earlier this year after it was initially thought they wouldn't be allowed to show more than four songs on TV. The BBC were eventually allowed to play an hour of the headline set.
