Eminem and Rihanna perform 'Stan' together as joint US 'Monster' tour begins – watch

Three-hour gig at Los Angeles' Rose Bowl saw Rihanna and Eminem perform solo and joint sets

Eminem and Rihanna began their joint 'Monster Tour' in Los Angeles last night (August 7), performing both together and apart in a set that lasted for over three hours. Watch footage of the pair performing 'Stan' together now.

The Rose Bowl performance began with Rihanna performing 'Numb' followed by Eminem doing 'No Love'. Together they then did a mash up of 'Run This Town', the 2009 Jay Z hit featuring Rihanna, with Eminem's 'Renegade'.

Consequence of Sound reports that gig then saw Rihanna played a solo set, including singles 'Rude Boy', 'Umbrella' and 'Stay' before being joined for Eminem on 'Love The Way You Lie', a song linking her solo set to his. Taking up the reigns Eminem's set featured tracks including 'My Name Is', 'The Real Slim Shady', 'Without Me' while Rihanna rejoined the gig to perform Dido's chorus on 'Stan'.

The gig ended as it began with a joint performance, Rihanna contributing 'Diamonds' and 'We Found Love' and Eminem ending the show with his usual set-closer, 'Lose Yourself'. An encore saw the duo unite one final time on their 2013 single 'The Monster', taken from Eminem's latest album 'The Marshall Mathers LP 2'
