Enter Shikari are to record their third album in Thailand next month.

The St Albans hardcore band have been writing the follow-up to 2009's 'Common Dreads' over the last few months and are set to record the album with producer Dan Weller, who also produced the band's 2010 single 'Destabilise'.

Speaking to Kerrang!, frontman Rou Reynolds said the band have narrowed the 30 demos they've written down to 15 and are relocating to the Thai beach resort of Bang Saray for three weeks in record their third LP.

Reynolds also said the band's new material will be less straightforwardly political, saying: "I won't be writing about specific events. There're all sorts of topics to be addressed, like the causes as to why everything isn't going well in society as a whole."

He also said that the band were "not sure" whether new song 'Quelle Surprise', which Enter Shikari debuted live during their performance at South By Southwest in Austin in March would feature on the new album.

Enter Shikari will tour North America as part of the Vans Warped Tour throughout the summer, before returning to the UK to play the Reading And Leeds Festivals in August.
