SLOWHAND IN MARRIAGE!
The guitar legend weds the mother of his baby daughter...
Veteran blues guitar legend ERIC 'SLOWHAND' CLAPTON has married his the young mother of his baby daughter.
Clapton and 25-year-old Melia McEnery married two days ago on New Year's Day at a secret ceremony at the 15th Century St Mary Magdalen Church in Ripley, Surrey. Reports say friends were told they were showing up for the christening of the couple's six-month-old daughter Julie Rose.
The wedding comes ten years after Clapton's four-year-old son Conor fell to his death from a 53rd floor window of the star's New York home.
The marriage is Clapton's second. He was formerly married to Patti Boyd, who divorced Clapton's close friend, the late George Harrison to be with him.
