ERIC CLAPTON is to be made a CBE at BUCKINGHAM PALACE today (November 3).




The former member of the [a][/a] and Cream was made an OBE in 1994, and will today be honoured for services to music as part of the New Year's Honours List, reports the BBC.




Clapton’s solo career highlights include classics such as ‘Layla’ and ‘Wonderful Tonight’.
