Evanescence have announced that they have hired a new guitarist and drummer to replace the band members who left earlier this month, as previously reported.
Troy McLawhorn replaces guitarist John LeCompt, and Will Hunt replaces drummer Rocky Gray. Both new members come from the band Dark New Day.
"I am a big fan of Dark New Day and can't wait for the fans to see what the guys bring to our live show," said frontwoman Amy Lee on Evanescence's website.
The band will debut their new line-up tomorrow (May 19) at the Rock On the Range Festival in Columbus, Ohio, which also features Velvet Revolver and ZZ Top.
Meanwhile, former drummer Gray is auctioning off his six gold and platinum albums from 2003's 'Fallen' and 2006's 'The Open Door' on eBay. The auctions open at $500, and no bids have been placed yet.
