NO 'CLEAR SOUNDS!
NME.COM can announce that the US rockers can't cross the pond because of "circumstances beyond their control"...
EVERCLEAR have cancelled their UK & Ireland tour, NME.COM can announce.
The five dates were due to have kicked off in Dublin's SFX on May 25 before rounding up in Nottingham's Rock City on May 30.
In a brief statement released this afternoon (May 11) the band blamed "circumstances beyond their control".
The statement went on: "The band deeply regrets any inconvenience or
aggravation this may have caused Everclear fans and thank them for all their support. Everclear hope to return to the UK in the very near future."
No information has been provided about ticket refunds or possible rescheduled dates.
The cancelled dates in full are:
Dublin, SFX (May 25)
Wolverhampton, Wulfrun Hall (26)
Manchester University (27)
Glasgow Barrowlands (28)
Nottingham Rock City (30)
