Everything Everything, Foals, The xx up for Ivor Novello Awards

Everything Everything have landed two nominations for this year's Ivor Novello Awards, with Foals, The xx and Bombay Bicycle Club also up for awards.

The Manchester band are nominated for Best Song Musically and Lyrically for their single 'MY KZ, UR BF' and for the Best Album Award for their debut 'Man Alive'.

Everything Everything face competition from Villagers and from Foals' NME Best Track winner 'Spanish Sahara' in the Best Song Musically and Lyrically category.

Katy B and Tinie Tempah are also nominated, while Plan B is up for two nods, including Best Album for 'The Defamation of Strickland Banks'.
