Faith No More man to work on 'Watchmen' writers' project

Mike Patton to contribute to new work

Friday June 12 will see the newly-reformed Faith No More headline Download. They join other headliners Slipknot and Def Leppard for the metal fest at Donington Park.
Faith No More's Mike Patton is in line to work on a new project 'Watchmen' writer Alan Moore is helming.

Moore is working with UK indie record label Lex Records to release a two-hour audio book for the deluxe package of the semi-autobiographical work, which will likely be released in 2010, reports Billboard.

Musicians who have been sounded out to contribute to the soundtrack include Patton and Justin Broadric of Godflesh.

Meanwhile, Patton and the recently reformed Faith No More are gearing up to play European and UK festival dates this summer.
