Faith No More warm-up for Download festival with London gig

Faith No More kicked off their summer reunion tour last night (June 11) in London with a two-hour set, including both classic hits and more obscure material from the band's back catalogue.

The band played at the O2 Academy Brixton to warm-up ahead of their headlining appearence at the Download Festival this weekend (June 12), kicking off with a cover of Peaches And Herb' 1979 soul hit 'Reunited'.

Singer Mike Patton made extensive use of a megaphone and various vocal effects throughout the show, before telling the crowd: “We'd like to thank you, for coming to visit us again after 11 fucking years. It's good to be back!”

The band played two encores before ending on the final track of 1997’s 'Album Of The Year', 'Pristina'.
