Faith No More have sparked rumours that they may be working on new music.

The band posted their first ever tweet earlier today (May 30) announcing their headline set at this summer's Open'er Festival in Gdynia, Poland, which takes place from July 2-5. Their next tweet however, prompted fans to guess that the band might be working on new material, as they said it was "time to get a little creative".

Faith No More split in 1998 but reformed in 2009 and have been playing reunion shows since. However, there has been no new music since 1997's 'Album of the Year', which was their sixth LP.

Faith No More will also play London's Hyde Park on July 4, where they support Black Sabbath as part of the Barclaycard British Summer Time event. At Open'er they will join previously announced headliners Phoenix, The Black Keys, Jack White and Pearl Jam. Other bands on the bill include Lykke Li, Wild Beasts, Banks and Ben Howard as well as Warpaint, Daughter and Bastille. Tickets are on sale at Opener.pl/en.
