Fall Out Boy rope in Jay-Z on new album

Have they gone hip-hop, or has the Hova gone emo?

Fall Out Boy rope in Jay-Z on new album

Fall Out Boy have roped in an unlikely special guest on their new album in the shape of Jay-Z.

Following their breakthrough year, the emo pop posterboys release their fourth album ‘Infinity On High’ on February 5.

And fresh from cosying up to Chris Martin on his own ‘Kingdom Come’ album, hip-hop’s premier makes a brief cameo on opening track ‘Car Crash’.

And Fall Out Boy’s urban obsession doesn’t stop there. Though production duties have mainly been handled by regular producer Neal Avron, the band also worked with legendary R&B hitmaker Babyface.

‘Infinity On High’ is preceded by the single ‘This Ain’t A Scene, It's An Arms Race’ on January 20.

The band launch the album in the UK with the ‘Three Countries In Three Days’ UK tour, playing Bridgend Wales Recreation Centre (January 27), Glasgow Garage (28) and London Hammersmith Palais (29). Alll dates are sold out.
