Couple tie the knot in low key ceremony
Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz has married his fiancée Ashlee Simpson.
The couple tied the knot with a group of close friends and family at Simpson's parents' home in Encino, California last night (May 17).
A statement on behalf of the couple said: "We're delighted to confirm that Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson were married this evening in front of family and close friends."
Simple Life star Nicole Richie and her husband, Good Charlotte vocalist Joel Madden were in attendance as was Simpson's sister Jessica, reports The Sun.
Her father and former Baptist minister Joe Simpson, is believed to have conducted the service, and Wentz's English bulldog, Hemingway, was the ring-bearer.
The couple apparently celebrated with an Alice In Wonderland-themed reception, with Black Beauty roses decorating each table.
Simpson is reportedly pregnant with the couple's first child, although the pair have yet to officially confirm the pregnancy.
