Fall Out Boy frontman Patrick Stump will guest star in an episode of the long-running medical drama House next week.
Stump, who previously appeared in an episode of Law And Order in 2008, will play a character named Micah, who acts as a love interest for one of the show's regular stars Charlyne Yi.
The episode is titled 'We Need The Eggs' and will air next Monday (April 16) in the US. You can watch a clip of Stump in action in the show by scrolling down to the bottom of the page and clicking.
The singer, who released his debut solo album 'Soul Punk' in 2011, revealed earlier this year in a lengthy blog post at Patrickstump.com that he "had no interest in performing music publicly any time soon" after he had received negative reactions to his solo material.
Producers of House confirmed earlier this year, that the show, which stars British actor Hugh Laurie as grumpy doctor Dr. Gregory House, will end at the climax of its current series.
The show debuted in 2004 and will have run for eight series when it ends later this year. It has been screened in over 60 countries during its run.
