‘Family Guy’ and ‘The Cleveland Show’ renewed for new seasons

Both of the animated comedy hits will be back in the autumn

Family Guy and The Cleveland Show have both been renewed for new seasons.

US channel Fox has renewed the long-running animated comedy hit for a tenth run, with its spin-off being rewarded with a fourth.

“For nine reasons, our viewers have been cracked up, delighted, surprised and, at times, gloriously disturbed by the mind of Seth MacFarlane – and they keep coming back for more,” said Fox entertainment president Kevin Reilly, according to Hollywoodreporter.com.

Reilly continued: “The Griffins and Browns have become cornerstones of our Sunday nights, and we can’t wait to find out what new adventures Seth (and his team) cook up for them next season.”

Both shows will run in the US as part of the 2011-12 season, with UK airings to be confirmed.
