SLIM CHANCE OF SHOWADDYWADDY REVIVAL?
FATBOY SLIM
and ageing 70's teddyboy rockers SHOWADDYWADDY could
be about to get together for the most unlikely collaboration in pop.

The superstar DJ recently confessed to being a fan
of Showaddywaddy - who scored a
string of hits in the 70s and 80s with harmony
versions of 1950s standards - and now the band have
let it be known they are open to working with
Norman Cook.

"We've always said no to club DJs who wanted to do
things like add a rap voice to 'Hey Rock And
Roll'," frontman Dave
Bartram told the Daily Mirror. "But
Norman knows our end of the
spectrum."

The band have invited Cook to see
them when they play in his hometown of
Brighton on June 12.

A spokesperson for Cook told NME.COM that the idea was "completely ridiculous".
