BACK TO THE ROOTS

TV and radio show spawns album of famous folk's favourites...

BACK TO THE ROOTS

All Back To Mine, the Channel 4 and Radio 1 show that takes a peek at the record collections of those who have made a mark in music, including Paul Weller, Noel Gallagher and Fatboy Slim, has inspired a compilation featuring some of the best tracks aired.

Scheduled for a September 6 release through Regal Recordings, the LP includes some of the lesser-known works that have had a profound influence on this decade.

Highlights include 'Sliced Tomatoes' by The Just Brothers, the tune sampled by Fatboy Slim on 'The Rockafeller Skank', and 'Holy Are You' by The Electric Prunes, used by The Verve as their live intro music. The album was compiled by Sean Rowley, the show's creator and presenter.
