Norman Cook will keep his alter ego alive after all

Norman Cook has denied he is laying his Fatboy Slim alter ego to rest.

In a statement his management said they "categorically" confirmed he will continue under the name and is getting ready for festival appearances at Rock Ness, Glastonbury, Wireless, Creamfields and Brighton Beach.

Reports appeared yesterday (May 14) that the DJ was killing off his famous name.

Fatboy Slim is currently finishing work on his album 'The BPA (Brighton Port Authority)'. No release date has been set.
