CREAMFIELDS' CALIFORNIA DREAM OVER?

CREAMFIELDS' LAS VEGAS event has been cancelled, NME.COM has learned.

The Liverpool superclub's Californian debut was scheduled to take place on September 29. But sources involved in the promotion of the show have revealed that it will not take place as scheduled and there are currently no plans to reschedule it.

A proposal to host a smaller event in San Francisco is said to be in discussion.

As revealed by NME.COM in April, Cream has announced that in addition to their annual event in Liverpool (August 25), it would host five international Creamfields events, in Dublin in June, New York on September 1, the now-cancelled Las Vegas date, Buenos Aires on November 10 and in Australia in the last quarter of the year.

The other Creamfields International events are said to be unaffected by this change. The Liverpool show, which takes place August 27, features Fatboy Slim, Gorillaz, Orbital, The Avalanches, Paul Oakenfold, Carl Cox, Pete Tong, Seb Fontaine, Sasha, John Digweed, Darren Emerson, and Timo Maas. The
New York show, which takes place September 1, also features Fatboy Slim,
Orbital, Pete Tong, Darren Emerson, and Timo Maas, as well as Crystal Method, Richie Hawtin, Josh Wink, Tall Paul, Max Graham, Photek, Scott
Hardkiss, Scott Henry, DJ Feelgood, Dub Pistols, and Scanty Sandwich.
